Isa Or Regular Saver?

Ruth - do you anticipate needing access to most of the non-ISA funds within a year?

Or are you likely to be able to limit this to one withdrawal per 12-month period?

If so, have you thought of opening a regular, monthly saving account with Derbyshire Bdg Society? It pays 5.85% gross (half a percent more than A+L Online Saver), and deposits can vary month-by-month to anything between £10 and £1,000 per month. On the anniversary of account opening, unlike Halifax, Derbyshire allow the funds to remain in the Regular Saver account, earning the favourable interest rate.

    Hope this helps.
