in Credit cards
Hello all I have a question regarding credit cards that offer 0% on purchases for a certain amount of time.
Im currently between jobs (should hopefully not be too long) I have a bill of over £800 to pay at the beginning of August and don't have the money to pay it.
I was having a look on this site and noticed Marks and Spencers offered 0% for 15 months.
'M&S are offering a 15 month interest-free introductory period on purchases. To apply you need to be a UK resident, aged 18 or over with a good credit history. You cannot apply for this card if you have held a credit card with M&S Money within the past 12 months.'
Does this mean I could pay the bill on this card and then have 15 months to pay it back without incurring any additional fees? Would I have a certain amount I would have to pay back each month? Any help/advice would be appreciated.

You may not be able to apply being out of work. I'd read their t's and c's.
I assume you have a good credit rating and have checked this?
Normally with most credit card companies you need to repay a minimum amount which is either percentage of the amount or a set amount i.e. £25.
Dont credit card though if you cant repay it in full. Thats how debt starts. You should look to repay £54 a month to get it paid off in full by the end of the card interest free period.

0% on purchases applies to purchases you make using the new card, not balance transfers to pay off balances on other cards.
You will still have to pay the minimum payment asked for each month - the amount of the minimum payment varies between cards.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0
