No residual interest?

I've just cleared my HSBC credit card and so this is the first month where I've had a zero balance in about 6 years. I was expecting some residual interest from the previous month before I'd paid it off, but my statement today shows no interest and no minimum payment required.
Is this correct do you think, or should I ring to check?

If it says nil owed on the statement then its nil owed.
Don't waste your time making a problem when one does not exist.
