Got a quote of these and paid a deposit of £250. All looked good. Suddenly then thing started to not add up. They wanted £1250 deposit which they give back in 28 DAYS. Then, I asked them for an amount owing and they appear to want to add about £100 insurance surcharge now. (I'm in my 40s, 0 points, no accidents). Checked…

We hired from these guys too, had the hire return check & were told there were no issues. No check on propane used. Then we get a bill for £75 for a full waste water tank (no, we had definitely emptied it then shut off all taps), propane gas use and an admin fee. Have challenged this via the credit card company - no record of any of these so can they make charges in this way?
