Does anyone know anything about this company? Have been trying to contact them by telephone for a refund of fee they charged and it is impossible to get through!! Spoke to them 31/05/2012, told me I had a two week cooling off period then paperwork arrived today, not posted until 19/06/2012 so outside that period!! What are the chances of me getting a refund?

As with all these online loan brokers the best way to get a refund is to write to them and request a refund of the broker fee you paid.
Their website details how to cancel the agreement within 14 days of receiving the terms. I suspect that will have been 14 days from the date your applied for the loan (and clicked you had read and accepted the T&Cs). You didn't need to wait for the paperwork - how to cancel is all detailed on the website.
As you have left it more than 14 days I think you will only be entitled to the refund less the £5 fee they are allowed to keep if you cancel the agreement with them after 14 days.
You could still try using the 14day clause (if you send a copy of your bank statement make sure you black eveything else out so they cannot read it). But suspect that they will say you are too late.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

I have just tried to cancell my agreement with them on the basis that I didn't agree to the broker fee. I was told repeatedly that I had agreed and this was on tape and had been listened to by someone in another department and that I couldn't speak to the manager because it was not his job to speak to customers. I was then told that I could only speak to him if the advisor had not helped me. I explianed that she hadn't and she argued and said that she had because she had explined that I had agreed to the broker fee. When I repeatedly asked to speak to the manager she hung up on me.
