Change who pays my FIT payments?
Could someone please advise me on this or point me in the right direction. I currently have a Solar PV system with FIT payments made by EDF. Due to problems with EDF and there inability to correctly bill me I am in the process of changing energy suppliers. However I would also like to move my FIT paymants away from EDF. My installer Evoenergy advised me I can "port" to another company but how do I go about this?
Many thanks.
Rob.

Yes, you can.
The FIT payer updates a central register to state they pay you. Your new supplier may wish to know about cancellation so just I case, check your t&c's.:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0 -
I have just changed mine to the Utility Warehouse. The change occurred seamlessly with me signing just 1 piece of paper
UW can offset the FiT against other Utility bills, I just had my Gas and Electric bill for May, £6 (down from £115). If you take this option they will pay you an extra 2p/kWh for a few years.
I am not a UW salesperson, google should find you one or message me and I will send you details of my guy who was really nice0
