You know that you are probably not going to get this property, don't you?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

I do, and it doesn't really matter, this house is great but the panels are a deal breaker for us, I can wait a couple of months for the market to refresh and there will be another house that ticks the majority of requirements we have.

Update: Apparently I can buy the panels for 20k or pay the solar company to remove the panels and compensate them for the lost income from the feed in tariff "which they would have to calculate and get back to me"

After his attempts at high pressure sales techniques and guilt tripping about polar bears and the future of my children ( which I don't have) I wouldn't want to give him a penny of my dosh for his snake oil technology.

So decision made we will not be making an offer and will start looking in a few months.

But those who have them fitted to their house are laughing all the way to the bank.

Are they? My new neighbour owns a company flogging them. From the amount of bling he has I think it's them who's laughing.

I'd far rather have £20k in index linked bonds than sat depreciating on my roof (while saving me a few pennies a day - perhaps).

They certainly are - that's why the government has decided to lower the amounts paid.
