I was reading the t+cs to my cc last night and i've just discovered im not actually covered by their rules as i'm a housewife.
They knew this when i took the card out (3 -4 years ago) but added it to my account anyway, before i phone and cancel it is it worth a claim?
It wouldnt be a major amount its the principle really.
Not sure whether to just stop the ppi and not worry any more about it.
Any advice?
Many thanks

If you have reasons for mis sell then put the claim in, stop the PPI now, they may do the mis sell claim when you cancel the PPI if you give the reasons.0

Did they ask if you wanted PPI, did you fill in the online application and tck the box to say you wanted it.
Cancel it immediately anyway and answer the above questions please.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Hi thanks for the replies.
McKneff I really can't remember if I asked for it or not, knowing me yes I probably would've asked for it, but only if I believed I would be covered.
I only looked at the t+c's last night because we are being bombarded with ppi calls at the momentMy beloved dog Molly27/05/1997-01/04/2008RIP my wonderful stepdad - miss you loads:Axxxxxxxxx:Aour new editionsSenna :male: and Dali :female: both JRT0 -
I have seen mention of a phrase on here and it is
Miss bought, rather than a miss sell. I get the impression you filled in the application card on line so there was no 'advice' given from a 'person' or am I wrong.
It looks like you asked for it but didnt read the terms and conditions before applying otherwise you would have seen it and realised yourself. Under those circumstances it is your responsibility.
Anyway, cancel it now and then decide for yourself. You could apply then forget about it, if it comes up, its a bonus, if not, youve lost nothing.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Yes your right I did apply online. I will have to cancel it tomorrow as the office is now closed.
My husband seems to think I was working when I took the credit card out, which would make sense to me for taking out the ppi, looks like its my own fault I should've cancelled it when I was no longer employed.
Thank you for taking the time to read and respond. My beloved dog Molly27/05/1997-01/04/2008RIP my wonderful stepdad - miss you loads:Axxxxxxxxx:Aour new editionsSenna :male: and Dali :female: both JRT0 -
