carefully consider cashplus before you sign up , I'm with them and it was £50 for a business account .
You can pay in at any post office and plenty of paypoints , but the problem is , you don't get a chequebook , and the card is a prepaid mastercard , lots of my suppliers charge me a % for using it , even though the money is mine in the account , you can set up direct debits etc so it serves a purpose , just remember it's only a pre paid mastercard at the end of the day .0 -
Corp tax is 18%, but if I remember rightly is only charged when money is taken out of the company.
If UK resident, the additional bands will be charged, making it worthless in reality for most that would visit this board.💙💛 💔0 -

The £50 doesn't have to be paid up front though. IIRC it can come out of your first receipt. CardOne is better if you need cheques. My business was all electronic so it wasn't important.
Note that CardOne is more expensive though. Here's a comparison of the costs between the two.0 -

It comes out of the first payment you pay in so it is upfront , it's not bad but I'm sure there must be better options .0 -

Limited company?
If you're a sole trader then it's not a problem.0 -
