Not under Section 75 protection - that covers situations where the supplier has not fulfilled their contract.

I'm not aware of insurance against accidental damage being part of Tesco's CC deals.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

No it would not. If it was faulty and wouldn't work and you had a dispute about it, then you may have had a case.

Do you have cover under your house contents insurance.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

Well if you put your credit card over the place it was damaged it should cover it quite nicely.

Although more seriously I'm guessing you're talking about Section 75 protection, if you can explain how the supplier failing to fulfill their contractual obligations directly led to the accidental damage of your iPad, then yes it will.

Tesco don't cover you for their own mistakes on your account, never mind s75 potential claims, which yours isn't sorry to say..
Never argue with an idiot. Especially not this idiot because I'm always right anyway.

Worth taking it back to the retailer and checking. I was speaking to a colleague a Couple of days ago, and he said he'd dropped an iPad and the screen had cracked. He took it back to see if it could be fixed, presuming he'd be charged or be told it wasn't economic, but as the crack was a. Straight line rather than radial the sales assistant said it was probably a manufacturing fault, and he got a Replacement for nothing. Interestingly the accelerometer in the iPad can be checked, so if you have whacked it or dropped from a great height then they will be able to tell and you won't have any joy.
