Buying a lightweight folding parasol

Going somewhere shadeless, remote,need to take something in my luggage for the beach? Can anyone recommend one?

    We are taking a full size Fosters pub brolly. It is surprisingly light. About 2kg IIRC

    buy one when you get there and then leave it there, wont cost much

    We did that in 2007 but buried it just before we left. We went back in 2010, dug it up and used it for another two weeks. :p

    Nope, it isn't a wind up. :p

    We buried it, took a couple of photos of the location along with a GPS fix and a rudimentary "X marks the spot" treasure map. When we went back three years later, we retrieved it. It was surprising difficult to find the exact spot despite all that info though.
