Don't know what it's called or what to google!

I need a normal looking toilet roll holder (not one of the big commercial ones that pubs and offices use) that only lets you pull off 2 or 3 sheets at a time and takes a normal size loo roll.
(To stop someone with autism unwinding the whole loo roll down the loo in one go and blocking it.)
I've tried googling and all I'm getting is the commercial sites. I can remember a few years back you used to get the small chrome ones where there was some mechanism which stopped the roll from turning more than a certain amount. It doesn't matter if it's a bit bigger but I don't want the bathroom to look like a public toilet.
Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about or whether they're still available?

Thanks

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

    Hi

    have a look at this

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Winware-Dispenser-dispenser-dispensing-economical/dp/B004C29FUS/ref=pd_bxgy_kh_img_b

or try googling Toilet Tissue dispenser

Some do look a bit "industrial" - but probalbly better than a blocked loo.

    Good luck

Don't know how severe the pulling of loo roll is, but a cheap solution you could try is to simple squeeze the loo roll and then put it back on the holder spindle. The cardboard tube wont be round then, and you cant pull the roll all in one go and it usually results in only being able to pull off a few pieces at a time.

In the meantime, try putting an elastic band across the roll and pop the ends around the bit that goes up the middle. If you can get it the right tension it should allow you to pull a sheet or two at a time without the roll running away.

My mother has one of those holders in her understairs loo that that is secured to the wall only on one side and the roll slips on to it. She is constantly knocking it off the holder and an elastic band has solved the problem!
