Blocking Sections??

does this forum or the forum software vBulletin support blocking of some sections such as topics in the search?

for example say i click new posts and dont wish to see the student topics/threads is there a way for it to not appear???

It's possible to only search only in certain forums on the advanced search. Hold down control and In the 'Search in forums' box on the right click the forums you want to search in.

But don't think it is possible for 'new posts' or 'todays posts' - did a few experiments but couldn't make it play

I think admin can restrict what is shown in the same way The Moneysavers Arms wasn't shown in recent posts in the old site - but I really don't think it is possible for us to choose. on an individual basis
