Are there other credit refrance agencies?

Hi all,

I am currently trying to take control over my debt.

I have signed up with the two big players in the industry. Equifax and experian (CreditExpert). I wanted to know if there are any others out there?

The reason I ask is that because on BOTH Experian and Equifax. I cannot see my Tesco Personal Finance (Credit Card), my Barclays current account, or the debt I owe Virgin Media. It's as if these creditors never existead, the are no records what so ever.

Has any one got any advice for me please?

crediva was new to me as well but it is mentioned on a number of local government websites. Also mentioned is Aristotle International Europe Limited

It looks to me as though Crediva don't actually store data uploaded to them by creditors, rather they merely collect publicly available information from the land registry, registry trust, and local council to show whether you're a homeowner, whether you're registered to vote, and whether you've been subject to court action for non payment of debt.

I suppose this could be useful for clients like employers, landlords and letting agents that are only interested in these things and aren't concerned about the other data the three main credit reference agencies hold.

Or indeed Electronic Identity checks for things like car hire, mail order address verification, and the such like.
