Decent Free DVD Writing program???

Are there any DVD writing programs that I can download for free that allow me to edit the menu screen and create DVDs playable on all mainstream DVD players?

Bit of a long shot I know... :o

    Have a look here. There are a few that claim to be freeware but I have not had a proper look at the list as there are loads.

    I've just been using avi2dvd with good results Spartan.

    I didn't bother with creating menus myself as i didn't need that - but the program seems to do all that.
