One of my clients has received a complaint, via Prudential, from a Curtis Cook of Joshua Brookes Limited, trading as Iwantmyppiback.
Mr Cook, presumably with the consent of his bosses Polly Heys and Tristan Heys, has sent the complaint off without bothering to first ensure the FOS questionnaire has been completed and therefore not enclosed it.
If he had done his job as his regulator told him to, he would have realised that Scottish Amicable to whom he addressed his complaint was taken over by Prudential over ten years ago.
He would also have realised the "account number" was not, as he asserts, a loan but a life policy.
So another bunch of fraudulent idiots to avoid.

LOL. A "professional" claims company that cant tell the difference between a life assurance company and a general insurance company and sends the complaint to the provider and not the adviser.
Sounds a bit like the claims company that cold called telling me that I could complain to myself for selling myself a policy even after I told her I was an IFA and I do my own insurances.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -

The latest bulletin from the MOJ says the MOJ is receiving data from a lot of financial institutions about non-existent cover.
I urge ALL IFAs and mortgage advisers who receive complaints about non-existent PPI or where the FOS questionnaire has not been included (as required in the last Bulletin) to report it to business@claimsregulation.gov.uk0 -

I'm not an IFA or mortgage advisor, but was just wandering if I could report them?0 -

You can only report if you have evidence.
However, you can report if they call a TPS registered number, or if they attempt to incite you to make a fraudulent claim.
Alternatively, you could report them if the do not send you the FOS questionnaire to check and sign or (and this is a very important one) if they only send you the last sheet of the questionnaire so you sign it without having an opportunity to first read it.0
