Everyone's annoying me today

I know it's mostly me, rather than them... ie that I'm irritable rather than them actually being annoying, but I still think it's them.

Grr. Going to take myself off to bed in a mo and sulk.

Don't even know why I'm sulking!

Ever have days like this?

yes, occasionally ;) - and you're doing the right thing. Remove yourself from everyone and go to bed, shut out the world.

this will sound pretty weird but my 'inner child' takes charge on some days, i just try to go with the flow & put back any adult/work stuff that i might have to deal with. let her have a bit of 'me' time & i'm back to being okay in a few hours (i've not got a split personality, honest!).

if you are having frequent 'off' days, might be worth having a chat with your doctor/nurse to explain how you're feeling.

just noticed this was a couple of days ago so hope you're ok now :)

The last few days have been like this for me!!

I've been full of a cold, which means I'm not sleeping well, plus it in turn affects my vertigo. I've also got PMT! And I work with teenagers, who have been particularly annoying this week

So for the past 2 days I've gritted my teeth through work, then come home, locked door, put pjs on and shut out the world :D. Spent the time sleeping, reading, watching tv etc.

Feel much brighter now today :)

    So you aren't alone!

    Frequently.

    Sometimes a walk helps,
    a hot bath,
    a nicer-than-normal meal,
    something that smells good,
a treat of some kind - but usually I'm too grumpy to decide what, sometimes tackling a particularly nasty piece of work (= the day can't get any worse so I might sa well do horrible things so I don't have to spoil a better day)
or, as you're doing - going back to bed to sleep myself pleasant.
I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.

Oh yes! I have those days from time to time and the thing I find most irritating is not being able to work out WHY I feel that way!!

I've had a few this week, but realise those were down to my late sisters imminent birthday (yesterday), so those were acceptable.

When I get like that I just want the world to leave me alone and go bother someone else :rotfl:

Feeling much brighter today and I hope you soon will too.

    Big hugs xx

Hope you are feeling better about everything now OP. I also feel as you described from time to time, I think most people do. I just shut myself away and eat something nice, watch something funny or listen to some music. Sometimes reading a book, having a soak in the bath or having an early night can help loads.

I am feeling a bit down at the mo actually but I know what is behind it. Once that is out the way next week I should feel much brighter.
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.
  • It's just you needing some time "out" :)

We all do from time to time. You did right just going to bed, probably a much needed rest. Hope you feel better now.
I get those days where everyone is on a mission to deliberately annoy me so I don't let them anymore and just go off for a nice relaxing bath, glass of wine and my book in peace. :D
