Pay two cards - split the cost, or pay one off first?

I've two credit card debts, balances £8,500 and £5,500, similar interest rates in the high 20s%.

I'm taking a 3-month payment holiday on my mortgage, giving me some extra to pay off.

Is it best to focus on one card, or split it 50/50 (or another fraction)?

Or doesn't it make any mathematical/financial difference, since any payment reduces the overall debt?

Thanks!

Primarily go for the one with the higher rate. There might be a psychological benefit in paying off the smaller one first if the rates are identical, apparently also a good idea to pay off one pound more than minimum on other card to make your credit report look better.
