Beware Booking.com security lapses

Options
You have to give your card details to make a reservation with Booking.com. I have found hotels which print out all your card details including the 3 digit security code which make card abuse a real danger. Booking.com just says it's not their problem, hotels can do what they want with the confidential info you give to Booking.com. Gross irresponsibility or what?

You'll find that it's in violation of the agreement they have with their aquirer and also breaches PCI rules. If there were a way I would look into complaing to the PCI and also the ICO.

Any merchant that holds or processes cardholder data is required to ensure it's security, one of which is obviously to never print it out. In fact the CSC shouldn't be stored beyond the initial transaction.
