I have just received a Notice to Owner from Excel for being parked longer than the maximum period in a retail park with the outstanding amount shown as £100. They say a PCN was issued but there was not one on my car and I have not received one through the post.
They also claim photographic evidence although this has not been sent.
Do I appeal or just ignore this notice?

Appeal at your peril !Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Appeal at your peril !
I don't know that you'd experience 'peril', but yes don't appeal.
If you feel you really must respond (as I did to Parking Eye; I really felt that they needed to have their own a**e handed to them), state 'THIS IS NOT AN APPEAL' in your correspondence and address is to general enquiries/information rather than appeals.
General advice is don't bother contacting though. I had the amusement of two really badly construed personal replies, but the rest have just been generic templates.0 -
ignore these clowns and all threat o grams to follow as all part of the SCAM, we all know you have lost your appeal as everyone that appeals loses????, ,you WILL however IGNORE these scamsters.jobs a real good un aint it.0

Ignore...you will get around 5 threat o grames just file them and treat them with the contempt they deserve..
have a look at what watchdog says
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAIcdi9niHAIt is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
Thanks for the advice. I will stick it out.0
