Getting a contract with new name

I have recently changed my name, and had the rent increased. And the Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement expired almost two years ago.
My landlady refuses to draw up a new contract with my new name and new rent price. How can I get a new contract?
She also just told us by email about the rent increase and did not use the Section 13 4B notice form. Can I stop paying the increased rent?
She has also told me other tenants complain about me. I asked her for a name and she told me about a tenant who had moved out. When I told her I will contact him to find out what his complaint was exactly, she threatened to take me to court.
Can she take me to court for trying to talk to a previous tenant who probably complained about me? This tenant has invited me to his house.
She also drops by the house unannounced. There are four tenants, and we each rent one room. Can she just drop by unannounced?
Thanks for looking this over.

Why do you need a new contract when you've been on a periodic tenancy for almost two years?

You can do anything you like but you need to be aware of the consequences of your actions. Like receiving a retaliatory Section 21 Notice. Which means that since you are on a periodic tenancy you will not be able to contest it.

No, she can't take you to court for speaking to any ex-tenants or for having other tenants complaining about you. But she will be able to evict you. For any reason or no reason at all.

Yes, she can but only to enter the common-parts, not your individual rooms.
If the conditions don't suit you, you have a choice: make other arrangements and leave or try to not cause any distress to your landlady or the other tenants.

The Fixed Term may have expired but in the absence of a further FT being signed up for your tenancy has continued as a statutory periodic agreement ( arising under the Housing Act 1988)I have recently changed my name, and had the rent increased. If you have already been paying the increase then you have in effect agreed to it - no need to serve a S13 if LL & T agree an increaseShe also just told us by email about the rent increase and did not use the Section 13 4B notice form. Can I stop paying the increased rent?
Either the complaints are sufficient for her to do something about it ( ie, give you notice of her intent to repossess the property at the earliest possible opprotunity) or she is just having a whinge. If a complaining other T has already moved out then why bother pursuing him to discuss the matter? On what grounds do you or the LL think that she could possibly take you to Court, if you did choose to speak to the ex T?She has also told me other tenants complain about me. How often does the LL "drop by unannounced" and what does she do once there?
Have you posted up the full story or is there a undeclared history of personal disagreement between you and the LL/other Ts?0
