Price difference of parcels EU-UK / UK-EU

well yes and no
thats a monopolised postal service vs RM
As I'm sure you know - where RM gets screwed is in carrying stuff the last mile for competitors and not being able to charge a true business cost for it.I need to think of something new here...0 -
The other difference is that the USPS has a six-day delivery window rather than next-day. Hence people are prepared to pay more to UPS, FedEx etc. for premium services where needed. Which is the way it should be.

I know all too well.
I could slate RM all day long for a multitude of things.
however the simple fact is many people cry about prices with no idea on the true costs to RM.0 -
Not a fair comparison indeed. To be honest it is probably worse in France (where I live). I sent a 1kg courier box to my aunt the other day (who also lives in France) and it was €10, so a 2kg couriered box within France is probably approaching double that. To send a couriered parcel to the UK from France...I don't even want to think about what that would cost. In truth I actually find French postage quite expensive by comparison to the UK! So ironic really...0
