Hi there. Just managed to get my last default off my Experian credit file. Call Credit and Equifax are still showing one though. My credit file with Experien is now very good - no missed payments for 5 years.
I want to get a good balance transfer card and was wondering if anyone could recommend any lenders that only use Experian for applications.
Thanks in advance.

To put it frankly, no lenders use experian.
All lenders use their "Own" credit scoring system.
One thing I can suggest through from personal experience is that my family seemed to be having alot of problems (Including me with a very good credit rating) getting a credit card. My dad got told by a bank that it was because someone else in the house (my brother) had a mastercard and was not good with it...
That in mind, if you get declined for a card that is defined under masterCard, maybe your second choice should be a Visa Card?
I got declined recently on a master card, and my second appliaction was a BarclayCard Visa card... I got accepted straight away, and with a very good credit limit (£3500).
Just my 2 cents, hopefully it provides some use to someone0 -

Were they?Won't matter one bit. Mastercard and Visa, ie the companies, don't have a say in who gets a card. That's a decision taken purely by the lender, ie the financial institution issuing the card...and taking the risk.Pure chance! See above.Apart from the above it's very useful!
Lol - yeah Yorkshireboy, I just need to find out who uses only Experian, so anybody that has access to all their files after receiving a CC may be able to tell me who is best.0 -
THanks for the corrections yorkshire boy, turns out I have alotta misconceptions I need taking care of lol.0
