Money Leaving Account

Hello,
First time poster here!
A quick query. I purchased an item from a well known high street retailer 10 days ago using my visa debit card. To date the funds have not left my account and the money is not showing either on my available balance? I have checked the receipt and all appears in order. At what point should I expect the money to be taken or do you think there has been a fault somewhere along the line?
Thanks

I believe they have up to 6 months? But I may have picked that out of thin air...Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

They have the right to claim the funds from you for up to 6 years.
You get nothing for nothing.
It is rare that this will not be picked up at some stage in the future.0 -

6 months for the authorisation on the card to no longer be valid, meaning they will need to put the card through again to charge it. But they can still pursue you for up to 6 years.0 -
Just have the funds available in the account, the money can be deducted any day (without further notification).0
