Thanks Ian
Just taken your advice and got a quote for £1300 cheaper.

My 17 year old son has just passed his test & insured his 1.0 corsa with Admiral.
He rang Admiral directly - he included myself & my husband which did bring the premium down (both have clean driving record).
The policy is for 10 months - after which he would be entitled to 1 year NCB - I don't know how that works.
The premium was still just over £2000 though - it was very expensive to pay this monthly rather than the lump sum that he decided to pay.
