What a nice person you are.
Well, yes I am actually but thanks for your opinion on my personality.
And as for a 'behemoth' I presume you mean that I drive a massive 4x4 (even though she told me she hadn't looked......)?
I actually drive one of the smaller 4x4s as I have a chronic back injury as a result of being injured on duty whilst serving as a Police Officer a number of years ago. I don't have the luxury of being able to always drive a 'normal' car as I cannot always get up and down into a traditional car like normal drivers. I bought my car from new some years ago and continue to drive it without changing it every year, so trying in some small way to lessen the environmental impact I make by driving a 4x4 in the first place. Oh yes, I drive less than 5K miles a year in it.
Thanks all for those who have had some useful input into my situation - I have learnt to now pay £'s extra to cover those no-claims and will be moving from SW as soon as viably possible.0 -
My vent is that I CANNOT PROVE my full no claims at the moment as SW will not provide me with documentary evidence of them. So I repeat, I cannot switch as I cannot provide evidence of my full no claims until it's sorted. Insurers won't insure you without this proof these days.
You havn't got maximum no claims bonus at the moment, hence why SW will not confirm it.
When you report an accident, the Insurers normally assume it's a fault claim and reduce your no claims until they or you recover your outlay.
It's a no claims bonus, not a no blames bonus0 -

I'm not sure, you'd have to ask a policeman.
Trust me, that was a lot nicer than what I really wanted to call her when she drove into me. And I would guess, if the same ever happend to you, you might, in some small way, feel the same.
But now, as a member of the lovely British general public these days, I believe I can freely call some young, inexperienced, female driver who was having a domestic with her boyfriend at the time of driving into me, anything I want.0 -
You can indeed. We do still have freedon of speech in England (just). To call a woman a bint though is a bit rich considering you knew nothing about her apart from the colour of her car and won't engender much sympathy from at least 50% of the population. It's just a gratuitous insult that's unncessary to make your point and says much more about you than her.

I apologise and I stand corrected. I will remove the offending word from my post. Thank you for being so helpful in this matter.
I'm tempted to recall a time I was beaten badly by a woman who I would have also called a 'you know what' but for fear of causing offence once again, will leave that to your imagination.0
