Hi just wondered if anyone had used 'Anvi Smart Defender' http://www.anvisoft.com/product/smartdefender.html It does say its compatible with all antivirus products? Have you found any problems with this software? Have you found any other antivirus products 'Anvi Smart defender' is not compatible with?

Has anyone used Anvi' alongside Mcafee & Avast?
Would you recommend 'Anvi'?

Appreciate any comments/Advice

Thx

Too much security software results in a slow machine, If you are already using mcafee and avast, you've got too much already, the former is very bloated.

A wouldn't put that program anywhere near my pc mate !
The people who make it were originally part of the team that developed 10 bit 360 program, 360 was eventually scrapped when it was revealed they stole code (malware signatures) from Malwarebytes.

360 was too badly tainted so it was re-badged 10 bit Malware Fighter and when the team split Smart Defender appeared shortly after.
Its interface is similar to 360, its scan times are almost identical and there are plenty of over hyped reviews on certain Freeware sites.
I posted a review on Cnet that wasn't very positive and within a day there were 4 reviews posted saying it was the best thing since sliced bread, most of their posts had poor grammar.
They claim to be from California which then changed to Canada but the general belief is that they are from China.

When i emailed them, i asked if they were associated with 10 bit, they denied this and went as far to say that 10 bit were a malicious company.
Then i find on "their" own forum a post by one of their team saying that they split from 10 bit to form Anvi ..

There are a lot of mixed reports about them and far to much smoke surrounding them to trust them , especially with a security product...
