Hotel for 02 Academy Brixton

Hi all

I have the chance to accompany a friend to see ALanis Morisette at 02 Acedemy at Brixton on the 27th June (next week).

I have to book a room though and its late.

Can anyone reccomend a hotel that is not too far away yet dont want in excess of £100?

Happy to use the tube to get there, buses whatever, does not have to be next door.

Advice please?

How about no longer being masochistic?
How about remembering your divinity?
How about unabashedly bawling your eyes out?
How about not equating death with stopping?

There are hotel by Clapham Common - the Windmill and Euro Hotel (or similar).
Hotel on Leigham Court Rd, Streatham.
All a quick bus ride from Brixton.
There are various chain hotels esp once you're a bit north - there's one by the Imperial War Museum, can't remember which but again a quick bus trip from Brixton. There are Travelodges south of the river (Balham, Southwark).
You can very easily get the bus or tube to the Victoria (tube) and Waterloo (tube with a change or 1 bus) station areas which have many hotels - cheaper hotels behind Vic station or try the Wellington by Waterloo.
I have not stayed in any of the places mentioned.
