Bank Account Issue

Had a joint account, me and two others. One member of the account was quite friendly with the bank manager and was able to just pick up the phone and transfer money to their personal account. The account needs two to sign , but this was overlooked. The total amount was £580.
I had the account frozen and i started a dispute, I have been contesting it for 8 months , today the bank have offered me a third of the total plus £270 compensation for the length of time in dealing with the matter.
I dont know if I should accept that or not . Has anyone any advice on the matter ?

Given that you are probably not likely to want to continue using that account, this seems a fair offer.0

Thats correct, I thought it was a fair offer, just wanted a third opinion. A third of the money that was wrongly transfered and compensation for the 8 month hassle I guess is ok. Initaly they said that everything was above board and nothing will be done until I pushed the matter to the head office and proposed that I would be forwarding on to the financial ombudsman and my solicitors , of whom im sure would of obtained terms far better than what I am being given now.
However the outcome is decent in my eyes.0
