PLUS-SX dealing

Hi, I posted this a few days back on another thread but it got lost within it (as it was a little OT).

I'm looking to purchase some shares in a company which is listed on the PLUS Stock Exchange (plus-sx.com). Does anyone have a recommendation for a good online dealer to user I know share.com lists them but they may well not be the best.

Also I read about PLUS having some difficulties and being taken over, would this have impact on the companies within it's exchange?

The PLUS exchange its self is currently being brought by ICAP if agreed.

I would consider very carefully purchasing any shares in a company where the *ONLY* market itself might not be around.

Where would you sell your shares then?

These companies would not automatically qualify to join the main London market. It fact many do not met the requirements to do so.

Thanks for your reply. I'd seen news on the takeover by ICAP but wasn't too sure how that would affect things.

Shame as I'd like to invest in a specific company but they are only on PLUS-SX currently. If the market went kaput then would I be stuck with the shares unless they got listed elsewhere?
