Camping....in the rain!!!

    And be aware of high winds. While camping in the rain is a bit of a nuisance camping in strong winds can be dangerous. There is some good advice on the ukcampsite forums about this.

    For most seasoned campers forecasts of high winds are the only thing that will make them cancel their trip, or pack up and come home early.

    Mind you we will try and avoid packing up in the rain if we can!

    Also make sure you never ever put your tent away with even the slightest hint of damp on it. Make sure you get it out and dry it off at home. If you put it away damp mildew will form which will ruin your tent.
