Mentioned this to my Keyworker and she said the best thing to do is to give the disability benefit line a call. Not sure where you are based but a quick google came up with this link -

For further advice or information about disability benefits for disabled people, telephone the Benefit Enquiry Line (BEL). The number is 0800 88 22 00. Textphone 0800 24 33 55 (for hearing and speech difficulties).DEBT FREE AND LOVING LIFE0 -

It maybe my freind will have to take a chance and just apply come what may. Our area of the world ain't to keen on people improving themselves it seems, so you get used to going it alone.
The university support service is unlikely to be able to help. However, the Students Union Advice Centre should be. If you send me a PM and let me know which university, I will be able to give you contact details."Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee."0
