Timescale for Replies - PPI

Hi,
I am new to the site and my husband and I have recently (2 weeks ago) sent out via recorded delivery 7 letters for PPI claims including Vanquis, Bank of Scotland and Alliance & Leicster, Does anyone have any idea how long it can take for a reply? we haven't evan had so much as a acknowledgement!:(
Any help or advice would be great

Usually an acknowledgement within a week as long as you used the correct address.

I sent a PPI claim to RBS about 7 weeks ago, got confirmation letter and text within a week, reply by letter saying they were offering me repayment of my PPI plus interest 2 weeks ago. I got another text yesterday to say that they will be paying me within the next 7 days.

Thanks to you both for replying - Its been longer than that already and nothing-I can't find an email address for Bank of Scotland (who we have two PPI forms in with) and nothing for Vanquis or also 2 claims with them, does anyone have them or are non-obtainable??

Why don't you call and make sure you've sent the letters to the correct addresses ? I wouldn't email them, they'll be inundated with correspondence at the moment. Get the correct addresses and send them all again.

Hi again, its been nearly 4 weeks since we sent out the initial PPI forms and we have only had 1 reply :-( we just cant understand it,they -all 7 letters were sent recorded delivery,has anybody else had as long a wait? Thanks

I sent ppi claim form to Marbles, I had a response after about four weeks telling me that that I should have a decision within eight weeks of them receiving the complaint. It has been over thirteen weeks and I have heard nothing. How long do I have to wait!!!
