holliday insurance !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Holliday Insurance !!!!!!!1 booked a holliday for my family and there husbands one of them had to drop out I foolishly thought no problem allready got insurance that will cover it cancelled the seat on the plane (got nothing back and they re sold the seat) when we got back got in touch with the insurance company we took the insurance out with told them why my party member could not go told them his father had died they asked for his fathers medical records that cost a further twenty pounds from his doctor they were not happy with them so we had to get further records another twenty pounds and they would not pay out the claim as he had a long term illness I do not know if i will even bother getting travel insurance in future without checking out all my familys health records no matter how distant a relative you never know either that or I will just not bother seems there are so many ways it can be voided .:mad:

    I shouldn't let this put you off purchasing insurance in the future - you need to check what questions are asked when you are filling the form in, and ask them of all members of your party.

    Alternatively everyone should get their own insurance.

    Which Travel Insurer is it, as some do not ask a well worded question about non travelling family members, if it's the case you may be able to argue the matter.
