hi all
I posted on here earlier in the season about Pontins refurbishing all their accommodation.
Has anyone been this year who can report back on what it is like now?
They are doing offers at the moment...

Hi - We went to Pakefield 6 weeks ago - using code jz17 - which was a buy one get one free plus a bottle of wine! Pakefield was nearly empty and I wasn't looking forward to going after reading TripAdvisor!! However, we were pleasantly surprised. We upgraded to the best accomodation, and Pakefield is all half board. The food was fine - we are used to Premier dining at Butlins. Butlins does win on alot of counts, but for the money and only having 2 under 5yrs, it was fine!. A friend of mine went to Camber a week before me and had basic accomodation , self catering and she hated it!0

My oh and I are going to Pontins in Southport on Monday for 5 days.
We are going with National Holidays, middle accommodation, dinner bed and breakfast for £99, brilliant deal.
Can anyone say what it's like please.
We will do a couple of day trips too.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0
