1 debt vs 100 days chapter 9

Hi again!
Well got together the last £400 of this debt challenge today - totaling £750.00!
Already my brain is going 'think what you could buy with that'... 'maybe i should pay x, y and z off first'... but NO - I need to pay this and be free of the emotional baggage that comes with it. I wanted to give my ex the cheque as a surprise a week before his birthday in December... However - a lot can happen between now and then and unsure my resolve will be strong enough to leave £750 untouched in the bank.
Q. Would you all just pay him and be done with it - or save it until December and give it him as a surprise?
Yay - I did it!!! But - wouldn't have without having the structure, support and encouragement of this post and all the contributions... so THANKS everyone!!!

Hi Abundant1972, I'd give it him now I'm sure if it's money he wasn't expecting back he'll be over the moon whenever he receives it and it removes even the slightest chance that the money may get used for something else!1 debt vs 100 days part 6-11total paid £8,135.86 Final Debt [STRIKE]6,948.61[/STRIKE] £3,174.940

Hi abundant,
I'd pay him now, clear the debt and clear the slate (and karma) for yourself from now.
I know I'd rather someone gave me the money when they had it rather than holding on to it til my birthday.0 -

I did it!! Will live on beans and toast for ever but am so glad to have this challenge completed. :T
Thank you everyone on here, just seeing others keeping motivated kept me going and I realised that even if I didn't get it cleared then I had still done a lot more in the past 4 months about clearing my debt than I did in the previous 4 years!!! So for anyone who isn't going to reach their target this time - see how far you have come, that's really what this challenge is all about!
Thank you,
:A0 -

Hello everybody!!!
I haven't been here for a while. My LO takes a lot of time (you don't realise it until you have your own;)) ,but more importantly, my broadband suffer a major flop, my supplier blamed "improvement work" first, then my hub, then wanted me to sign another contract , before will tackle an issue. I could only use internet ocassionally, not enough to run a thread properly.
Big Thanks to InstertWittyName!!!
