Credit Card Charges

Can anyone tell me how I can sort my credit card company out? I only get paid every 4 weeks so I get late payment charges by my credit card plus interest charges. I have askd if I can sort something out so I can pay every 4weeks and if the interest charges can stop, they said nothing, ignored me. Also can someone tell me if I can claim back on any credit card charges as it wasn't my fault?:

however you are paid, it is your responsibility to pay your debts on time. you need to manage your money in such a way as to be able to pay your debts on time.
you will not be able to reclaim 'normal' interest but you can claim back penalty charges see this site for details
