What kind of discs? Audio CD? DVD-ROM? CD-R? HDD?
  • If you have Vista which is a the worst OS in the world this is one of the problems.
First off: OS? Service Packs, have you updated them religiously? antivirus software ditto?
If you have Vista get the swearword off your machine and get an OS that does not f***k up with your system.

Good OS; bad third-party software support. This particular issue could even be a latent hardware fault for all we know at present.

What format is the music in?
  • Whoops! Vista is responsible for so many technical woes so I leapt in literally without looking. I fear that Windows 7 will be a repeat of MS not taking on users grievances that were broadcast far and wide.
I hope you solve problem it is one I have on Vista ugh.

Shouldn't matter should it? Unless he's ripping it from an audio cd and not "copying the contents" from a data disc
