Final stages of LSAP process - how much longer will it take?

Our buyers are funding part of their deposit via LSAP. We are buying a new build, and the developers want us in on 29th June (their year end). For lots of other reasons I won't go into, we are also extremely keen to move on 29th June. From the outset, our buyers and their solicitors have said this date won't be a problem. The buyers' LSAP application is at the very final stages. They apparently returned their promissory note (so they know they are going to get the money) on 15th June but they just need confirmation that the funds will be released by/on 29th June. When their solicitors phone the MOD to chase the confirmation, they are apparently being told "it's in the system but we haven't got round to it yet". Really frustrating as we can't exchange contracts until the confirmation comes through. We have had to pay a non-refundable deposit to the removals company to secure the moving day but really don't know if it's feasible for us to expect to be able to move then.

Grateful for any advice/reassurance from anyone who's been through this process!
