Are you really asking if running a local bus company in Uganda is a good idea?...
Sorry maybe its all the hemp I've been smoking lately I could have sworn you said "Uganda"...
Your not talking about: Uckfield in East Sussex or Upton upon Severn maybe... I mean Uganda........ nah you kidding me.....0 -
An update: Colleague A has found two other investors who propose to raise £20,000 between them. Colleague A has started a training business to help him raise his share of the £20,000 as he's assured the other parties already have their share of the money available.
He will be travelling to Angola early next year (a trip which will be funded by the other investors).
Colleague B brought a mini bus for under £4,000. He incurred 70% tax on the vehicle and shipping costs. The whole enterprise cost him £9,000. He was told by a friend he had a buyer willing to pay £15,000, but it eventually sold for £13,000. He's looking to reinvest his £4,000 profit in another vehicle and intends to fly out with the next vehicle, conducting the sale himself.
I'm personally interested in buying and selling cars (uk only), though I know next to nothing about cars.
Colleague B tells me private buyers sometimes buy a car off E-bay and advertise\sell on auto trader and vice versa.
I'm doing a little online research. I like audis and have read a experian report which places it as the best second hand sport car seller of 2011.
I'm reading the following thread http://www.thewholesaleforums.co.uk/threads/make-money-selling-secondhand-cars.51590/page-3
It's quite good0 -
so now you want to be a UK car dealer? This doesn't sound like a great career choice if you know nothing about cars.
Being a second hand car business is legally very different to selling a car privately. Buyers have far more rights for a start, under the Sale of Goods Act.Cash not ash from January 2nd 2011: £2565.:j
OU student: A103 , A215 , A316 all done. Currently A230 all leading to an English Literature degree.
Any advice given is as an individual, not as a representative of my firm.0 -
How appropriate.
I click on that link and the first avatar I see is that of Arthur Daley :rotfl:0
