Train, Chesterfield - Blackpool North 10/11 August
Hi everyone,
Wondered if anyone has any tips or can find a better deal?
I'm needing to travel via train from Chesterfield to Blackpool North station, on 10th August, I need to arrive around or before 11am. I need to return on the 11th of August leaving Blackpool around 3pm.
The cheapest I found was £55 return, can anyone help me find a better deal please?
Thanks

On the outward journey split tickets at Manchester Piccadilly buying an anytime single (£20.50) to Manchester and an advance single on to Blackpool (£6 or £7.50 depending on train) In fact if you are prepared to leave VERY early you can get to Manchester for £4 (0549 train)
On the return journey you can get a Blackpool to Chesterfield ticket for £10 if you delay your return a bit.0 -
Thanks Dzug,
I did as you said and split the journey, and I have managed to get it all for £22! Had to alter my times a little but for that kind of saving it's worth it!
