Balance transfer of an overdraft

Hiya,

My boyfriend has a student overdraft which is 0%. That is due to run out soon so I was wondering if any cards accept a balance transfer from an overdraft with 0% rates? Or is that seen as a cash advance?

Thanks,
KJ x

MBNA / Virgin cards you are able to make a payment directly to your current account - would be count as cash transaction, i.e you would pay a transfer fee but it would be at the promotional rate of interest

    Hope this helps
  • Yep Virgin MBNA with a 0% "super" balance transfer, (money transfer) for 20 months!
4% fee added to the balance you transfer.
Ie = £2000 + 4% fee £80 = £2080 will be the balance on your virgin CC at 0% for the length of the promo deal!
