Excel parking - when will they give up?

It's been over a year now since I got a "parking ticket" from excel parking. I was parked in one of their car parks in May last year. I had purchased a ticket, but it had a fallen from display. I appealed straight away and sent them a copy of the valid ticket, they refused to accept the appeal.
Over a year later, after a house move and numerous letters they are still clogging my letter box with threats of court action.
The way I see it they suffered no loss as I purchased a ticket and so they can't possibly have a claim for damages against me.
Will they ever give up?

It will take a bit more because you contacted them and if you do it again, it will start again.
Are these letters franked ?
If so bob them back in the post box each time you pass, they scan the franking code, see it has already been used and charge them a penalty.
They will soon get sick of sending you letters to stick back in the postboxHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
