NHBC Warranty expiry inspection

Hi all, Need advice!!
My NHBC new build warranty is due to expire next year, im thinking of having some sort of building inspection done so if they find anything wrong I can go throught the hassle of getting it sorted, does anyone know the what sort of inspection I should get done & cost involved. Thanks in advance
