Hi
I was given a credit card default I gather that i may be able to get this lifted and claim back my charges. Can you tell me where to get a template letter for this ?? Thanks

to reclaim your bank charges read this board

if the default has been correctly given then its unlikely you can get it lifted .. it will however have a major impact on your ability to get credit0 -
You will NOT get a default removed unless it is there in error. Even then it wouldn't be straightforward. Any default will stay on your record for 6 years and will have an adverse effect on any future credit application.
What kind of default do you think you have ? Have you obtained your credit file from the CRA's ?0
