seen a ybr custom 2008 (59) for £1400, and a CG125 for £1200. i have been on wisebuyers.co.uk that suggest the ybr custion is £1120 on a private sale excellent condition and the CG in the same condition is £700. are the asking prices wrong or are the wisebuyers figures wrong? Is there another price comparrison / guide site?

I think Parkers have bike prices but another source would be the classified section in Motor Cycle News. You will be able to compare prices there with other models of a similar vintage.

What year is the CG just out of interest and what is the mileage on both bikes?

If a buyer is willing to pat those prices then thats what its worth to them.

The YBR wont fetch that much on ebay looking at completed listings. Always worth a look to see what items have sold for recently or not sold in a lot of cases.

CG for £700 not the one on ebay from the salvage company is it?

16000 on the CG and 1700 on the ybr custom

No the CG is listed on ebay under classified but I was thinking £1200 for a 6 year old bike is too high

How much are they new? Thats the thing to look out for.

Have they ever been discounted heavily? Contacted the dealers asking for a nearly new machine?

One dealer offered me a good discount on a scooter, Owner was new to bikes/scooters. Took a CBT and bought the bike. Went home on it and dropped it trying to put it on the stand.
Phoned the dealer the next day to collect it as they would never use it again.

No idea how much they lost on it, But they did manage to crack a few panels.

    Always worth asking.

That does seem a bit high for a CG of that vintage. Mileage is ok for the year though.
