Help - Listed Building Troubles and disability

I have deleted because quite frankly we cannot sell too much work to do.
Did buy with structural survey, the place was completely dry lined as we have stripped back the layers found more and more work to do. The house is structurally sound, too fragile to take any more negativity. Sorry but thanks anyway.

You need to break down your post into paragraphs, otherwise it's too difficult for people to read. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
I'm not sure what the question was OP... Calm down and as Cattie says break down into paragraphs.
I have worked on many Grade I & II Listed Buildings (Carpentry & Joinery) and dealt with Listed Planning Officers and some are great others are pedantic and in general Listed Buildings are a money pit.Did you have a full structural survey carried out proir to buying the property?.
Quote: "Yet you watch these home shows on tv that do not tell you the difficulties with listed property they simplify things by saying that if works need to be carried out a simple submission is required to the local authority".
I've watched many renovating programmes including Listed properties and to be honest I've never seen this happen. They nearly always show the homeowner battling with Listed Planning officers or English Heritiage..0 -
I think you should very probably sell it.

The truth of the matter is that if your post was a huge block of text [as is often the case with posts from people who are fragile or agitated about something], nobody will bother to read it, so you get no help.
It is a bit harsh then to kick back on those people who have gone to the trouble to attempt to read it and start working with you to make some sense of the situation.
If you have struggled with whatever the problem is for weeks or months, you need to give people longer than an hour to even understand the problem.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. DVS is correct and my post wasn't intended to be flippant or negative and I apologise if you took it that way.
This thing is likely to be a serious moneypit for you apart from the stresses already associated with planning and it will get worse when building control get involved and you find that Building Regs as regards disablility are in conflict with the planners requirements for a listed building.
From the tone of your original post (and yes it did take some reading) you are already close to the end of your tether and have enough on your plate. So yes I do think it should be sold, remove the associated stress from your lives and find somewhere more suitable for your family. Thats supposed to be positive advice and is the best I can give.
Best of luck to you.
