48 hours in Dublin - what to do??

Hi all!! I just booked a cheeky cheap 2 night stay in Dubln as flights were bargainous. Haven't booked a hotel yet but looking for a 4 or 5 star central one.

Any tips on what do there apart from the hop on hop off bus tour???

Take the local train to the little port of Howth.

Pleasant place for a wander about and a drink/something to eat.

Dublin zoo is really nice, if its a nice day (and your into that kind of thing) its huge and requires a lot of walking.

The bus tour is definately worth doing.

We also visted a prison museum (can't remember its name, but sure Google will help) it was very interesting and worth a look in my opinion.

Can't help accommodation wise, as we have family their, so never needed to worry.
