    I returned two liteon dvd recorders with divx as they wouldnt play divx, very choppy. same films though played perfect on a philips and funai.

    Will the time shift on this type of machine work with an external source i.e. freeview box? Or just with the (terrestrial) channels on its inbuilt tuner.

    Im very tempted but youve put me off a little bit mate! I always play mpeg4/divx/avi movies so If it does not work then im screwed! :confused:

    I had 3 of these before finally getting a refund.
    They have a well ocumented problem with the DVD player and it stops recognising some disks.

    Think I'll leave it then. Far too many negatives about this dvd player.
  • Its a good price, but personally I have bad experience with LiteOn. The DVD's overheat a little and it stops working after a couple of months.
