Right I am at a loss when it comes to modern technology, a mobile phone is about my limit. My son wants a ipod but I have no clue which is the best to buy.
What's the difference between a ipod classic, nano and shuffle and which is the best value for money? Do I have to buy vouchers for them to buy music or can I just download cd's onto it....sorry but as I said it's all above me. Any advice appreciated

Lots of beginners guides HERE
Essentially, you can load CDs into iTunes at no cost, you can import mp3 and some music files, if you have those already, into iTunes at no cost. iTunes can be downloaded for free. You get the music onto the iPod via iTunes, so your son will need access to a PC unless you do it all for him.0 -

Know of anything similar? I've been pondering the possibility of a new music player myself but can't stomach the idea of being beholden to iTunes derivatives.0
